Little Mix’s Leigh-Anne Pinnock has announced she is taking a break in an emotional statement. The singer revealed she “feels every emotion” as she issued a candid update alongside a rare photo with her twin daughters.

She told her fans she will be taking time away from social media to give herself “time and space”. Leigh-Anne was recently hit by the devastating news two of her dogs had died just weeks apart.

In her emotional post, the mum-of-two shared: “Life is very much lifing right now so it made sense to sod off for a bit… giving myself time and space and just feeling every emotion.

“Sometimes you feel like you have to always be the strong and positive one to hold everything together, but it can be exhausting. Life sometimes gets you in a chokehold, it’s ok to have low days, be down and just feel.”

She was supported by her Little Mix bandmate Perrie Edwards who commented: “Love you so much my girl.” Leigh-Anne smiled in the photos alongside the post as she spent quality time with her young girls.

Her twins kissed either side of her cheeks in the adorable snap while they picked lemons from trees. Just last week, Leigh-Anne shared the heartbreaking loss of her pets.

The X Factor star got pug Harvey more than a decade ago shortly after winning the singing competition with Little Mix back in 2011. Leigh-Anne and her now-husband, footballer Andre Gray then welcomed Kyro, an American Bully, into their family in 2018.

Sadly, she announced on Discord that Harvey and Kyro died. In the post, Leigh-Anne said that Harvey died shortly before she travelled to Brazil a month ago. She said he had cancer that “spread rapidly” and that after trying “everything” she “had to put him down,” which she described as “traumatic”.

The Brit Award winner went on to share that Kyro “wasn’t feeling well” after swallowing “something plastic”. She said that he had surgery to remove it and was “all good,” but added that his wound “broke down” the following day.

Leigh-Anne said that “they went to re-operate but his body just shut down”. She told fans that she was in “complete shock” and was “devastated”.

She wrote: “I just wanted to let you guys know the reason I have been a little quiet lately. Harvey passed away literally the day before I flew to Brazil. It was just crazy and unexpected tbh. He had cancer that had spread rapidly. I tried everything but in the end I had to put him down. It was traumatic. He’s literally been with me half my life.

“And then last week Kyro wasn’t feeling very well turns out he’d swallowed something plastic and he needed to have surgery to remove it. They removed it fine and he was all good, but then the next day his wound broke down which only happens to 5-15% of cases. They went to re-operate but his body just shut down. I’m just in complete shock.”

Leigh-Anne added: “I haven’t even processed Harvey and now Kyro has gone as well. I just can’t believe it. The only thing giving me peace right now is thinking maybe Harvey was calling to him and they just needed to be together. Harvey was all Kyro knew, they were brothers and I just think maybe he was grieving him. I’m devastated, my whole family and everyone who knew them are too.”

The singer, who also has a dog named Louis, shared a poignant post on social media that read: “Sometimes it feels like everything’s falling apart… but really, things are just falling into place in a way we don’t yet understand.”
