A decapitated body has been found in the city centre
A headless body has been found lying in the middle of the street in the centre of Portugal capital, Lisbon.
The head was not found near the body, police have said as they launched a murder inquiry. The man’s body was found on Patio Salema, a narrow, dead-end street.
The body was found at around 6.45am local time and the area remains cordoned off.
Police are also investigating the death of a woman, who was found in the boot of a car nearby, just hours earlier.
The woman was said to be in her 50s but the man has not yet been identified.
