The Paul brothers shocked the boxing world on Tuesday after the pair suggested that they will be fighting each other on March 27, as both men posted a photo of the two facing off – but all is not what it seems

Logan and Jake Paul have cleared up and addressed any confusion by announcing they WON’T fight each other and will instead star in a new reality TV show.

The pair have seemingly been at loggerheads in recent weeks, with suggestions that they were going to fight each other – having dropped several hints on social media.

But their so-called feud was all just a gimmick, with the two brothers announcing that they have linked up with HBO Max to have their new reality TV show called ‘Paul American’.

On Tuesday evening, the Paul brothers shocked the boxing world after the pair revealed that they will be fighting each other on March 27 in a bout aired on HBO Max, as both men posted a photo of the two facing off.

Both brothers posted a short message on social media, writing: “The moment you’ve waited a decade for… March 27th on @StreamOnMax.” Fans were quick to respond to the bizarre announcement on Twitter, as one wrote: “Stop trolling”, while another asked: “Is this a joke???”

Talk of the Paul brothers fighting each other has swirled for years, but some boxing fans teased the pair after their announcement, as one wrote: “Absolutely no one has been waiting for this.” There were even more claims that the fight news was a hoax as one wrote: “I’m calling bull on this one. Logan is tied in with Netflix for WWE, your last fight was on Netflix and did big numbers so why on earth would this be on MAX? I think it’s a ruse.”

Boxing fans had been excited at the prospect of one of the Paul brothers facing former UFC two-division champion Conor McGregor, but according to the Daily Mail, UFC boss White blocked the fight because of his sour relationship with ‘The Problem Child’ and was reluctant to let the pair benefit financially.

“Dana White hates Jake Paul,” a source reportedly said. “There is a constant tumultuous attitude towards each other, and they have a never-ending feud because Jake continues to call out Dana on how he treats his fighters and how they get paid. He would have potentially considered it to be done if it wasn’t Logan, but Dana’s hate for Jake is the fuel that was needed to instantly say no.

“Dana doesn’t want the Paul brothers to benefit financially ever if it takes away from his own bottom line. The feud runs deep and will remain petty. It will be a cold day in hell before Dana and the Paul brothers are on the same page.” Jake Paul responded to the claims on social media, posting a screenshot of the story and writing: “Dana White didn’t let Conor fight Logan bc of his hatred for me? Haha. I hope this is bs. Can’t be that petty, can he?”
