A major motorway has been completely closed and all traffic held while an air ambulance lands at the scene of a ‘serious collision’ as tens of thousands of Oasis fans head to Heaton Park.
The M60 has been closed between Bredbury and Denton due to a ‘serious collision’ which happened at around 2.30pm this afternoon. It comes as around 70,000 Oasis fans are set to make their way to Heaton Park for the second of the band’s five homecoming gigs on their highly anticipated reunion tour, putting huge pressure on traffic in the area.
