Delays of 45 minutes expected
The collision has now been cleared onto the hard shoulder.
However, National Highways says delays of around 45 minutes remain.
They tweeted: “Collision cleared to the hard shoulder and all lanes open #M62 eastbound between J22 (#Denshaw) and J23 (near #Huddersfield).
“Please allow time for delasy to ease, approx. 4 miles of congestion. Delays in excess of 45 minutes.”
