The Sussexes have looked very loved-up during their public appearances at the 2025 Invictus Games in Vancouver – with Meghan appearing especially tactile with her husband

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry seem happier than ever if their Invictus Games appearances are anything to go by – but it saw her split between two roles, according to a body language expert.

The couple, who have been married for six years, publicly shared kisses and cuddles at the opening ceremony, and have continued to make a series of loved-up displays, much to the delight of their fans.

Not everyone is as impressed, however. One body language expert has labelled Meghan a ‘human limpet’ in light of the couple’s PDA moments, which have been taken to “a different level” than ever before.

Body language expert Judi James told GB News : “It was Meghan the human limpet, wasn’t it? She’s never shy about doing PDAs with Harry, obviously, but I think this took it to a different level. She’s giggling, she’s squealing with excitement at things, she’s very breathless. She had to sit there with him and not just cling on to his arm, she was holding his hand at the same time as well.

“She was gazing at him, she tilted her head onto his shoulder like they were on a date night. She looked like a cross between a woman on a date night and a mum going to her son’s school open day. It’s a proud mum or besotted wife on a date.”

It comes after Harry and Meghan enjoyed an intimate double date with Canadian singer Michael Buble and his wife Luisana during their time in Vancouver. The couple took some time away to spend an evening with friends at the city’s Vij’s restaurant on Saturday evening.

Following the glittering opening ceremony of the Games, Meghan and Harry joined Michael and Luisana at the acclaimed Indian restaurant, which they previously visited in 2024. Proud chef Vikram Vij later wrote on Instagram : “Another incredible night at Vij’s. When food brings people together, magic happens! We were honoured to once again welcome Prince Harry, Meghan Markle, Michael Bublé, and Luisana Lopilato for another unforgettable evening at Vij’s.

“Sharing great conversation, incredible flavors, and the joy of coming together — this is what dining is all about! A special night made even more meaningful as we celebrate the opening of the 2025 Invictus Games — a powerful tribute to resilience, courage, and the human spirit.”

Harry and Meghan spent a total of three nights in Vancouver before relocating to Whistler for the adaptive winter sports portion of the Games on Monday. During their time in the city, they were based at the super-luxe five-star Fairmont Pacific Rim. It is considered one of Canada’s most luxurious hotels and boasts the prestigious Chairman’s Suite, a £5,000-per-night accommodation which has been nicknamed the ‘Rock Star Suite’ – likely chosen by Harry and Meghan.

The two-storey, villa-like space overlooks the harbour and boasts its own rooftop patio containing a gazebo, meditation pond and fire pit. The master bedroom, which is located on the top floor, comes complete with a fireplace, king-size bed and a sprawling 500 sq ft marble bathroom with a hand-carved soaker tub. And a custom 8-foot Swarovski crystal chandelier cascades over the living area.

Guests – which have included Hollywood star Tom Cruise and singer Ed Sheeran in the past – can also make use of a private elevator, two living room areas, a kitchen, pantry and even a wine cellar.
