Meryl Streep’s daughter Grace Gummer announced she is pregnant with her second child

Meryl Streep’s daughter Grace Gummer announced she is pregnant with her second child with husband Mark Ronson.

It comes two years after they welcomed their first baby, a daughter called Ruthie. The couple married in 2021 and welcomed Ruthie into the world in early 2023. The 38-year-old announced the happy news while at her husband and Justin Theroux’s holiday party at Pebble Bar in New York City on Wednesday.

At the glitzy event, Grace looked out of this world as she rocked a form-fitting burnt orange dress that showed off her growing baby bump. She swept her blonde locks to the side as she posed in between her record producer husband and actor Justin. Her husband, Mark, had a sling on his arm as he posed with his wife in a blue button-up shirt.

When the couple first became parents, Mark’s sister confirmed the news to People. She told the publication that: “[Gummer] just had the baby. She’s two and a half months now. She’s stunning.” Grace first revealed the news of their first baby in October 2022 when she showcased her bump at W Magazine’s 50th-anniversary party.

She rocked a form-fitting red sweater dress which she matched with a red overcoat and strappy high heels. Several months before they publicly revealed the first pregnancy, Mark paid tribute to his wife. He wrote: “When people used to tell me their spouse was their best friend, i thought they were spouting hallmark nonsense or that they were some freak anomaly of love.

“So now i guess i’m either someone who spouts hallmark nonsense or i’m a freak anomaly of love. Or maybe i just married the most incredible human being around.”

Meanwhile, in January this year, Mark announced the name of their baby girl while accepting a Critics Choice Award for the song, I’m Just Ken, which he wrote for the Barbie soundtrack. While on stage accepting the gong, he told the crowd: “To my wife and my daughter, Ruthie and Grace, you are my world and my everything, so thank you so much.

“And if I forgot anybody, I’ll make a post later on Instagram,’ Ronson added before concluding his speech at the ceremony.” A few months later, in May, he celebrated her birthday with a tribute post.

He wrote at the time along with a snap of him and his wife at the Knicks game: “Happy birthday to my one true love. She thinks it’s cool that I share a bday with her all time fave, Beyonce, and i think it’s so cool she shares a bday with one of my faves, Ghostface. So here’s some pics of all of us. GO NY GO NY GO!!!”
