Comedian Mo Gilligan has hit back at his ex Selina Christoforou after her viral social media post claiming he is a ‘deadbeat dad’ as he shared a shock video
Mo Gilligan has appeared to have confirmed he is a father as he shared a clip of his secret son after the mother of his child slammed him. The comedian, 37, is getting ready to welcome his first child with current partner Taia Tulher, 28.
However, his ex Selina Christoforou, 35, posted an explosive video on TikTok where she claimed he already has a child but is a “deadbeat dad”. She claimed she knows how few times the star has met his son Rudi and insisted you “can’t make someone be a dad”.
Their son was born in January 2024, and Selina claimed she could “count on her fingers and toes” how many times Mo has seen their child over the last 17 months. It comes after Liam Neeson’s son reacted to his dad’s romance with Pamela Anderson.

While Mo has stayed silent on the claims, he has now appeared to hit back at Selina with a post featuring Rudi. The short black and white clip showed a little boy playing a giant game of Connect 4.
Mo decided to keep the boy’s identity hidden, but did include a very telling song alongside the clip. He paired it with Emotionless by Drake, which featured the lyrics: “I wasn’t hidin’ my kid from the world / I was hidin’ the world from my kid.
“From empty souls, who just wake up and look to debate / Until you starin’ at your seed, you can never relate, Breakin’ news in my life, I don’t run to the blogs / The only ones I wanna tell are the ones I can call,
“They always ask, why let the story run if it’s false? /You know, a wise man once said nothin’ at all.” Mo had never announced he had become a father when Rudi was born and it’s thought he met model Selina online.
“She found out she was pregnant in May 2023 and it was quite a shock for them both because they’d been fairly careful,” a source said.

“She adores their son and Mo sees him semi-regularly. Now he’s about to become a dad for a second time and he’s over the moon. He has been with Taia for quite a long time now and he feels ready to settle down.”
Taking to social media, Selina hit out at Mo in a viral post as she fumed: “I just finally posted on Instagram about my son’s dad so for your information, if you don’t follow my Instagram I don’t blame you. Um, Mo Gilligan is his dad. Very much in quotation marks.”
She said she thinks things will get better for her “unbelievable” son. However, she said she understands you “can’t make someone be a dad” and said Mo had made it very clear he wasn’t wanting to be a dad.
