After weeks of remaining coy about her relationship with Tommy Fury, Molly-Mae Hague has finally confirmed that the couple are “figuring things out”. And in a telling sign that things are going well, the influencer shared a photo of Tommy on Instagram last week for the first time in months. With the romance seemingly back on track, a source tells new that Molly-Mae and Tommy, both 25, are determined to make things work this time – and have even moved back in together.

“Molly-Mae has laid down the law for Tommy – so have her family. They want to make sure they get it right this time,” the source exclusively tells OK!. “She’s pretty much living with him as they spend time between their two houses, and are focusing on rebuilding the relationship.”

The couple first sparked rumours they were back together on New Year’s Eve –when they were pictured sharing a kiss, before jetting off on a family holiday to Dubai last month. Last week, they spent more quality time together on a trip to Center Parcs. During the weekend away, Molly-Mae posted a picture of Tommy walking hand in hand with two-year-old daughter Bambi – the first time he has appeared on her social media since they split.

Just days later, Molly-Mae addressed their relationship status in a new YouTube vlog as she explained that she is dividing her time between her Cheshire mansion and the house Tommy has been living in since the split. She said, “I’m not actually at my house, I’m at Tommy’s house. I’ve been thinking a lot today about how I skipped a massive chapter in everything that went on with mine and Tommy’s break-up.

“Just before we split up, I kept talking about how we were going to have a big change as a family and no one knows about it, and, basically, we were in the process of moving house. Describing it as “turmoil” and a “shambles”, Molly-Mae went on to say that the couple lived in the new home for a short period of time before she moved back into their old house.

Molly-Mae added that she’s hoping to live with Tommy permanently soon, explaining, “I’m spending a bit more time at what was meant to be our dream family home. I just want to be transparent about it because I probably will be vlogging from here a little bit. “It doesn’t mean anything – it might mean something, but I hope it doesn’t get read into too much. It’s just life and we are just figuring things out. Hopefully, in a dream world, I get to a place where I am permanently in this house.”

As the couple work through this tough time, our source says their nearest and dearest have been supporting them. “Molly-Mae’s family have been rocks for her and she’s really grateful. Everyone wants to see them get to a good place and they just want to make sure Tommy is doing all the right things. They do love each other so much and all they want is to be a family. All of Tommy’s family are being really supportive.”

Following their split in August, there were rumours of infidelity on Tommy’s part, which the boxer firmly denied. But after months of speculation, he finally opened up about the reason their relationship broke down, admitting it was his battles with alcohol which caused strain. “We broke up because I had a problem with alcohol and I couldn’t be the partner I wanted to be any more,” Tommy told Men’s Health in January. “It kills me to say it, but I couldn’t. I loved a pint of beer, loved to drink.”

Now, Tommy’s priority is steering clear of alcohol as he works to repair the family. “Tommy can’t live without Molly-Mae and he’s willing to do whatever it takes. He has been focusing on his health and is making sure he stays on track. When he’s got a healthy mindset, it’s better for everyone,” they explained.

Addressing the split for the first time in her Amazon Prime documentary, Behind It All, earlier this year, Molly-Mae admitted that she was holding out hope they’d reconcile. “What’s getting me through is the hope that Tommy and I will end up back together,” she said. However, she also addressed the detrimental impact alcohol had on their partnership, admitting, “At my sister’s wedding I pleaded with Tommy… I begged him to not drink. It’s just so sad, but it affected me. That’s why my relationship with alcohol is so damaged.”

Molly-Mae, who said she was “traumatised” by Tommy’s drinking, added, “I just know that isn’t who he wants to be, he doesn’t want this.” Now, our source says that it’s a new chapter for the couple. “The goal is that Tommy and Molly-Mae get back to where they were a year ago, living in their new home and enjoying family life with Bambi.”
