Fans have been hailing Molly-Mae Hague’s £840 grey wool coat as ‘perfect’ as she shows off her latest cosy winter outfit – and we found a lookalike that will save you £700
When it comes to winter outfits, Molly-Mae Hague rarely misses and one of her latest looks has got fans “obsessed” with her style. The latest object of her fans fixation? A cosy grey wool coat from Arakii.
With comments like: “I love this coat where can I get it” and “I’ll be stealing that coat,” flooded Molly-Mae’s comment section, whilst others added: “This coat is perfect” and “Obsessed w you!!!” it’s safe to say her followers were loving her chic outerwear.
But with the Arakii coat costing £840, it may be a little beyond most of our budgets. However, never ones to let a hefty price tag get in the way of a good outfit, we managed to track down an almost identical version, with the Forever New Petite Oversized Coat in Grey giving exactly the same vibes as Molly-Mae’s, but with a more affordable price tag of £145.

The Forever New grey coat is available to buy at ASOS, and has plenty of the same design details that fans loved about Molly-Mae’s. It comes in the same light grey shade, with a double breasted fastening and oversized lapels. The tabs around each cuff give it a high-end look, and it comes with a detachable tie belt which is perfect for accentuating your waist and adding some shape.
Although it comes in size 4 to 16, it’s already starting to sell out in some sizes, so you’ll need to be quick if you want to get your hands on it. It’s also worth pointing out that the coat is a petite length, which may run slightly too short for anyone taller.
If you’re after some other options, we spotted this Mango Premium Belted Double Breasted Coat which has landed in Very’s December sale. Reduced from £200 to £160, it doesn’t have the same wool finish as Molly-Mae’s, but it has a chic, tailored fit that gives it a luxurious, expensive look.
Elsewhere, Next’s Dark Grey Premium Textured Coat, £140, has a textured finish and a more relaxed, masculine shape, making it an effortless and timeless addition to your wardrobe. It’s also available in sizes 6 to 22, and you can choose from petite and regular lengths to get the perfect fit.
If your budget isn’t quite stretching to triple figures, Stradivarius has a true bargain option, with the Long Double Breasted Coat setting you back £79.99. Despite its budget friendly price tag, the coat has a luxe look to it, with a brushed finish, a double breasted fastening, and button details along the cuffs.
