Dessert fans have been wowed and are ‘obsessed’ with a new range of ‘yumnuts’, mousses, and ice cream tubs launched in M&S ahead of summer – praised as ‘unreal’ and ‘incredible’
Dessert fans applauded Marks and Spencer as it launched brand new, “ridiculously good” desserts ahead of summer.
Most of us love to enjoy a sweet treat now and again – and it’s even more exciting for those with a sweet tooth when a new product comes out that you can’t wait to try.
Fans cannot get enough of Marks and Spencer’s “indulgent” new desserts – from “loaded” ice creams to a range of “yumnuts” and mousse cakes. Shoppers said they “need this in my life” after spotting the “unreal” products in store recently.
Following the success of their previous ‘yumnut’ collection, the supermarket has now launched new flavours including: cream filled Eton Mess, lemon meringue, and caramelised biscuit. For a box of two, it will set you back £5.
An M&S spokesperson said: “Our Yumnuts are perfectly created using our unique butter enriched yum yum recipe with lots of lovely laminations which gives a delicious open texture.”
Facebook page New Food UKwrote: “New Cream Filled Caramelised Biscuit Yumnuts from M&S! These really are as good as they sound! Can’t wait to try the others!”
“I really want to try these,” one individual said. “These sounds absolutely incredible,” added another.
Also joining the dessert collection are triple layered chocolate brownie mousse cakes, banoffee mousse cakes, and hazelnut praline mousse cakes. Food blogger New Food Spotter UK also shared that a café latte mousse is available in stores, as well as a Colin the Caterpillar mousse, chocolate orange mousse, and a banoffee cheesecake.
In a video clip shared on Instagram, New Food Spotter also showed a number of new ice cream tubs available at M&S – just as temperatures rise across the UK. The new flavours include Movie Night Popcorn – popcorn flavoured ice cream with chocolate caramel cups, chocolate coated salted pretzels and a caramel swirl, Top of the Chocs – dark chocolate ice cream, chocolate truffles, biscuit balls and chocolate sauce, as well as Nut Your Average – hazelnut and milk chocolate ice cream with whole praline hazelnuts, milk chocolate chunks and chocolate hazelnut flavour sauce.
And a limited edition has also been launched – Trifle Caked Alaska ice cream – custard flavour ice cream, meringue clouds, cake sponge and tangy raspberry swirls. The new ice cream tubs are priced at £4 each.
Hundreds reacted the video clip shared by New Food Spotter as one individual said: “[I] want them all.” “These are what I need in my life,” added one other. “The Colin pudding and the popcorn ice cream please,” wrote another keen individual.
Another said they were “obsessed” with the new products, while another gushed: “I swear M&S are always bringing out fire desserts.”
But some pointed out that the products were too expensive. “Very nice, but the price isn’t”, said one. And another asked: “Will we be able to afford them though? That’s the question. If we’re lucky we may be able to get one if we really wanted to treat ourselves.”
