‘My favourite affordable brand just released a repair line—my hair feels healthier than ever’

By staff20 March 2025No Comments6 Mins Read

Shopping Writer Meghan has a new favourite, affordable haircare brand – after falling in love with their shampoo, she’s now putting their new repair line to the test

I recently found my new favourite, affordable, sulfate-free shampoo and conditioner—which I reviewed here—from HASK. After a few weeks of using the shampoo and conditioner, I noticed that my hair felt healthier, softer, and shinier. I couldn’t believe the difference it made, and HASK quickly became a favourite brand of mine that would maintain pride of place in my hair-washing routine from now on.

And just when I thought it couldn’t get better – Hask has just released a new Repair series, which aims to repair and strengthen damaged hair. As someone who gets their hair bleached and has put it through the wringer when dyeing it, I usually feel that my hair could use some TLC. So when I got my hands on the new Repair collection, which includes four treatments, I had high expectations. And to cut a long story short – I’m beyond impressed.

For those wondering where to shop to get their hands on my four new favourite products, the good news is they’re all available on Amazon – plus, they each come with a wallet-friendly price tag, each selling for £9.99.

The collection includes HASK Strength & Length Boosting Scalp & Hair Serum, HASK Intensive Repair Hair Oil, HASK Bond Building Leave-In Treatment Cream and HASK Bond Building Rinse-Out Deep Conditioner. Each product aims to repair and restore damaged hair; each product has been developed with breakthrough technology that is set to strengthen your hair, reducing breakage and improving your hair’s flexibility, leaving it feeling softer, healthier and stronger than before.

Hair can be damaged in numerous ways, from hot styling tools to dyeing to too much brushing, and these four picks, with their affordable treatments, are set to improve the condition of your locks. HASK’s repair technology, RepairPro, uses natural corn-derived acids, polysaccharides, and linseed and chia seed extracts to “build” a flexible bridge between broken bonds. Varying from protein-based bond builders that can overload hair strands and cause hair to become stiff and brittle, RepairPro promises to weightlessly reinforce hair for a natural and healthy look and feel.

Now for the products and my honest thoughts. Starting off with the Scalp & Hair serum, I can’t attest to its ability to encourage hair growth, as I’ve only been using it for a week. Still, I can promise it is super lightweight and non-greasy – a major plus as I hate the consistency of oily serums in my hair, even in small amounts. I’ve put it on damp hair after a shower, applied it before doing a hair mask and popped it on my scalp before styling, and I cannot feel it weighing down my curls or leaving my scalp greasy.

After that, you may expect a less-than-glowing opinion of the Repair Hair Oil; as I just said, I don’t like the feeling of oil in my hair. Well, you’d be wrong. I typically use hair oils as an overnight treatment (mostly so I don’t have to contest with any oily feel in my hair). That way, when I wake up and wash my hair, I have all the benefits of the hair oil and can rinse any greasy residue. I have done this with HASK’s Repair Oil, and my hair has felt healthier than ever when I’ve washed and dried it. But, I thought I’d push my boundaries and actually applied a small amount to my hair once it was dried and curled – and I can’t say I noticed any oily or greasy feel left behind.

The serum and the oil left my hair feeling hydrated, nourished, and smoother than before. My hair even looked healthier, with a shinier finish than I was used to. As someone with very thin and fragile hair, I thought my hair looked thicker and stronger after using the hair oil only a handful of times.

The leave-in treatment makes an incredible difference to my hair, especially when I’m styling it with a hairdryer or straighteners, as this can sometimes leave my hair feeling a bit dry and brittle. Infused with Argan Oil and powered by the Triple Bond Complex Technology, HASK’s Leave-In Cream left my hair feeling noticeably smoother and stronger, even after straightening it on high heat.

And the fourth product, the Deep Condition Hair Mask, left my hair feeling insane. Even after just one use, my hair was so soft I couldn’t stop touching it. It genuinely felt like I’d just left the hairdresser, as my hair was left with a salon-like softness. It felt so healthier and smoother than ever. I can hand-on-heart say I don’t think I’ve used a deep conditioner that’s made such a monumental difference with a single use.

The only fault I found was that the nozzle on my hair oil took some time to work. Otherwise, everything about the packaging, product, and price tags left me nothing but impressed.

You can pick up all four products for £9.99 a piece on Amazon. Grab the HASK Strength & Length Boosting Scalp & Hair Serum here, the HASK Intensive Repair Hair Oil here, the HASK Bond Building Leave-In Treatment Cream here and the HASK Bond Building Rinse-Out Deep Conditioner here.

If you prefer shopping elsewhere or fancy checking out other products from HASK, take a peek at this HASK Argan Oil 5-in-1 Leave-in Conditioner, which retails for £6.99 from Boots. Or, over at The Perfume Club, you can pick up this HASK Texture anti-hair loss solution with rice water for £6.26.
