SAFARI DREAM (8.20, NAP) can show his awakening from a nightmare run without success was not an apparition at Chelmsford today. The gelding won three times in his two-year-old campaign but had gone on a long winless streak until seven days ago at Salisbury.

He was able to take advantage of his slide down the handicap to win an apprentice handicap comfortably and he now reverts to the all-weather unpenalised for that victory. Trainer Rod Millman must mean business as he has booked champion jockey Oisin Murphy for the assignment before an 8lb ratings hike kicks in.

At Yarmouth it should pay to stick with the in form CAPITAL GUARANTEE (4.25, NB) who looks to have been found another winning opportunity by David O’Meara.

Wind surgery over the winter appears to have paid dividends as the selection has won two out of three starts.

He won over 7f at Catterick in April and over 1m at Thirsk last week. He took both contests with plenty in hand and O’Meara deploys apprentice Cian Horgan to cancel out the 5lb penalty imposed for the latest success.

RISEN AGAIN (2.55) benefitted from a positive front-running ride to open his account by six lengths over course and distance last time and a repeat of the new tactics will make him hard to beat.
