The Next jacket has proven a hit with shoppers, who want to buy it in multiple colours
Next shoppers are heaping praise on a fleece jacket they say “looks even better in person.” The retailer is known for it’s fashion statement products – and one product is standing apart from the crowd.
The Abstract Print Woven Mix Teddy Borg Fleece Popper Front Jacket is proving popular with shoppers online. The jacket, priced at £48, is available in a beige, red, and khaki green mix, cornflower blue, a green, ecru and orange mix, or lime green.
Next’s product description reads: “With a beige, red and khaki green borg fleece fabric, this cosy jacket is perfect for any cold weather outfit, featuring a heavyweight feel, a funnel neck and side pockets, finished with a popper fastening and a contrasting panel placket.”

The Next jacket has an overall rating of 4.5 stars online, having racked up glowing reviews from impressed shoppers. Among them, one person said: “Bought this initially to wear over my gym gear, but I am so impressed with it I wear it everyday. I love the feel of the material and the vibrant colours and get lots of compliments on it when wearing it.”
A second shopper wrote: “I bought this fleece in a size large as I wanted it oversized and it was perfect! I’ve had so many compliments on it and it looks even better in person. The quality is excellent and it keeps my surprisingly warm! I would definitely recommend, I’m already looking to buy the other colour ways.”
A third added: “Bought this as a Christmas gift for my grown daughter. She absolutely loves different style fleece jackets and is thrilled with this. The quality is amazing and the style is a bit different to standard fleeces so really stands out from the crowd.”
Another, while loving the jacket, also shared a one thing she’d change, writing: “Gorgeous fleece jacket, gifted to my friend who adores it! Striking design and colour. The only negative I would say is that it is unlined but still excellent quality. I’ve got my eye on the other colourway for myself!”
Others also shared their disappointment with the jacket being unlined. They wrote: “The jacket is nice on the outside but it is unlined and the reverse of the material is a very cheap and rough texture. This makes the garment feel cold and uncomfortable. That said the print on the outside is lovely. The sizing is in the large side.”
