The 59-year-old older brother of rock stars Liam and Noel spoke only to confirm his name, age and address before being granted conditional bail.
Gallagher wore a black suit and thick-rimmed glasses. He is also accused of coercive and controlling behaviour, three counts of sexual assault, three counts of intentional strangulation, two counts of making a threat to kill and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
The alleged offences are claimed to have taken place between 2022 and 2024, the Metropolitan Police previously said.
He will appear in Harrow Crown Court on September 24.
The charges against Gallagher, a DJ and photographer, came as Oasis’ Live ’25 tour continued across the UK before the band flew to the US.
