The wait is almost over – Oasis is back and Cardiff is ready for it. The reunion tour that seemed half the world away last year is about to kick off, and over 74,000 people will pile into the Welsh city’s Principality Stadium on Friday night.
Such is the anticipation ahead of Noel and Liam Gallagher’s arrival back on the main stage together that fans have already started to camp out. It marks the first of 17 nights across the UK, with fans set to flock to London, Manchester and Edinburgh too.
There will also be a set in Dublin before the band takes the show on the road to North America, Mexico, South Korea, Japan, Australia, Chile and Argentina.
But the here and now sees Wales ready for action. And there are big plans already in place. Here is what we know so far…

Preparations have gotten underway in Cardiff ahead of tomorrow’s first show. With over 74,000 fans expected to descend on the Welsh capital, officials have started preparing.
With many expected to arrive by train, the stunning area outside the station has been fitted with metal railings, ensuring that there is no shoving and fighting to get into the station first. Instead, those hoping to arrive or leave by train will form an orderly queue and probably belt out a few tunes while they wait.

Stage times for Oasis in Cardiff
With the band set to play for over two hours on Friday, fans will be eager to know times to try to plan their evening. With doors for the stadium opening at 5pm, fans can treat themselves to some brilliant warm-up acts.
The first support act Cast warm up the crowd at 6pm, shortly followed by Verve frontman and friend of the Gallaghers, Richard Ashcroft will then take to the stage at 7pm. Then, as the anticipation reaches fever pitch the time Oasis reunite live has now been confirmed as 8.15pm.
They are set to play for just over two hours before they will end the set for a 22.30pm curfew. It’s thought there will be 24 songs for the crowd to enjoy.
Full set list revealed
It’s thought the epic set list has been leaked online ahead of the opener. According to one fan, they have claimed they heard the full rehearsal setlist after staying for the duration of the playback. They said the tracks to be belted out by 74,500 in attendance will be as follows:
