If you’ve got an unsightly toilet that you need to get looking as good as new ASAP, there’s a ‘super easy and cheap’ method you can try – and she showed the amazing results

Sometimes, calcium and limescale build-up can cause a disgusting residue on your toilet, and it can leave you wondering how on earth you’ll ever clean it off.

We all want sparkling, fresh toilets that smell delightful, but sometimes, in the grand scheme of things, the bathroom cleaning priority gets shoved to the bottom of the list – and it’s only when guests are imminently coming over that you panic it’s not clean.

Rather than getting out the bleach, however, one cleaning guru suggested a totally different product that people joked they “pulled a muscle running to Amazon” to buy as it worked wonders.

TikTok user @organizerjen took to the platform to share her “toilet cleaning hack” to get rid of the unsightly build-up in the loo, saying it’s “super easy and cheap”.

She then proceeded to show the amazing results she got, showing bit by bit what she’d managed to achieve when cleaning her loo – but people were left wondering how she’d managed to get the toilet so clean when it had previously been disgusting.

The tool she’d used to achieve her good as new loo was a heavy-duty scouring stick, which she said she’d “definitely recommend” for the same type of cleaning as she’d had to undergo.

In the comments, someone asked: “Did you use anything else? Or did you just rub this against the bowl?”. Jen replied to say that the scouring stick was the only thing she’d used, but she protected her “hands and arm” with a rubber glove.

“I pulled a muscle running to Amazon. Can’t wait to try it, thank you”, someone added. Another wrote: “Thank you!! I hope this helps me clean my toilet stain.” In the UK, the same scouring stick can be purchased from eBay for £9.88.
