Orlando Bloom has reunited with Katy Perry to have talks on their relationship after a source claimed they have been ‘living separate lives’ while Katy has been on tour
Actor Orlando Bloom flew to the land down under to reunite with Katy Perry and their five-year-old daughter, Daisy Dove, to have ‘make-or-break talks’ amid split rumours. Orlando, 48, was sweetly snapped carrying his daughter Daisy on his shoulders as he walked the streets of Perth, Australia, on Sunday.
Orlando cut a casual figure in a printed long-sleeve top, paired with black jeans, black boots, and a cap. Katy, who performed in Perth that night, wasn’t spotted out on the walk with her family.
Orlando’s trip to Australia comes amid reports of their nearly decade-long relationship being on the rocks following Katy’s controversial Blue Origin space flight and her being on tour. Reports suggest that Orlando has flown to Australia so the pair can have conversations about the state of their relationship.
While rumours have been circulating about their relationship, a source revealed that Katy doesn’t want to ‘give up’ and that they both ‘love each other’.
A source told The Sun: “No one has decided it’s definitely the end of the road for Katy and Orlando. They both love each other, but they have been living different lives for at least a year and in different mindsets”. They added: “But Katy especially doesn’t want to just give up”.
Katy has been spending some quality time in Australia, where she will have been for the entire month of June, concluding her time down under with a gig in Adelaide on June 30.
Spending so much time away from her home in Montecito, California, has also caused a ‘big disruption’ in her home life with Orlando, with a source claiming they have been ‘living separate lives’.
The source said: “Katy and Orlando have been disconnected for a while now, and with their work commitments have been living separate lives.
“She has mentioned jetting back from Australia to spend time with Orlando, Daisy, her sister Angela and her kids. They have barely been together for a decent amount of time, without distractions, for many, many months.”
The source added: “It has been “go, go, go” and they thrived when they enjoyed a more settled life, being together in the same place for a length of time. But that has just not happened.”
Reports have also stated the Lord of the Rings actor wasn’t a huge supporter of Katy’s Blue Origin space flight, which saw her enter space for 11 minutes.
However, despite their rough patch, the source says there is ‘still a huge amount of love’ between the couple and they can ‘ride out’ the difficult times.
