People have been left gobsmacked over the menu options given to McDonald’s customers in Japan – with one social media user claiming the country has the ‘best McDonald’s burgers in the world’
More than 70 million people eat at McDonald’s every day – but it doesn’t serve the same menu to all of its customers. It prompted a fast-food fan to share where you can get “the best McDonald’s burger in the world” – and people can’t wait to try it.
On TikTok, user @imsparkzz taste tested the Samurai Mac, served in Japan which is made up of three thick grilled soy sauce beef patties, three slices of cheddar cheese, crispy sliced onions, and a toasted poppy seed bun. He says: “Listen to me when I say this is the best McDonald’s burger in the world.”
But this isn’t the only burger he was impressed with as he moved onto the Ebi Filet, describing it as “Filet-O-Fish but with prawns”. Reviewing this burger, he simply said it’s ‘goated’. Finally, he tried the Teriyaki Chicken burger, saying: “These things come juiced up, look at that. You gotta come try this.”
Commenting on his clip, one jealous user said: “Japanese McDonald’s looks so good.” While another added: “The older I get, the more I realise the McDs in the UK are shocking.” A third user chimed in: “Japanese McDonald’s is elite.” One more user added: “Pardon me? Instead of fish it’s prawns! I would demolish eight of those.” Another user said: “Book that flight.”
Someone else also said: “That chicken sandwich needs to come to U.S.A. yesterday.” A final user added: “Japan have some of the best food in the world.” It comes as McDonald’s UK releases its Christmas menu – which includes a new cheesy burger and a festive pie.
The fast food chain’s festive menu will be launching in stores around the country on Wednesday, November 20. The launch will also see a number of limited edition items available for six weeks over the festive season. This year, McDonald’s has combined its classic and beloved pie with Terry’s Chocolate Orange Pie. The crispy chocolate pastry is filled with a Terry’s Chocolate Orange flavoured chocolate ganache.
Making a return will be the Terry’s Chocolate Orange McFlurry, as well as the Galaxy Caramel McFlurry, a soft dairy ice cream swirled with Galaxy Chocolate stars and topped with a Galaxy Caramel sauce. The festive menu also sees the return of two hot drinks – the Galaxy Caramel Latte and Galaxy Caramel Hot Chocolate.
For customers looking to try something new, McDonald’s has introduced the Cheesy McCrispy, a burger with 100% chicken breast fillet in a crispy, crunchy coating, served with lettuce, crispy onions, pink pickled onion chutney, bacon, two slices of cheese, and cheese sauce. Other burgers joining the line-up include the return of the Big Tasty and Big Tasty (with Bacon).
The Christmas offering will also include the Cheese Melt Dippers with Rich Tomato Sauce. These breaded cheese dippers are made with Camembert and served with a tomato dip and are available as a sharebox.
