Peter Andre’s wife Emily MacDonagh said she is keen for the pair to spend more time together amid their hectic family life. The couple, who married in 2015, have a busy household consisting of the two of them, their three children together, and Peter’s daughter Princess Andre.

In an honest admission about their relationship, Emily, 35, discussed the relatable realities of trying to have quality time together, while juggling family life and their careers.

“It’s something we have to make an effort to do and if I’m honest, we should do it more,” she told Heat Magazine.

“We always say we ought to try and go for dinner once every two weeks, and it happens but just not that frequently.

“But, we still try and make time for each other within our routine and working week.

“So, every night at home, we will sit together and watch TV, or have a conversation, just us, no distractions.”

The doctor said as well as time together at home, they also try to have an annual holiday to Cyprus.

“Obviously, it’s where Pete’s family’s from and I love the kids going back there. It’s their heritage,” she added.

Peter, 52, and Emily are parents to; Amelia, 11, Theo, eight, and 16-month-old Arabella.

As well as Princess, the Mysterious Girl hitmaker has 20-year-old son Junior with his ex-wife Katie Price, who lives with his girlfriend.

Commenting on the age gaps between their children, Emily added: “It’s so nice – we’ve got the full spread here.

“What’s so good about having the big age range is that you see them all at different stages of their lives.

“And seeing the dynamic between all of them is lovely. Obviously, they bicker – especially Millie and Theo – but they really love each other so much, all of them.”

Unlike Junior and Princess, the pair’s three children are kept away from the public eye and do not feature in Peter’s eldest daughter’s new ITV2 reality show, The Princess Diaries.

The 18-year-old has been giving fans an insight into her life as an influencer, and an aspiring businesswoman.

During the episodes, she also opens up about growing up with famous parents.

In one admission, the star admitted that she wished her childhood was “happier”, and revealed she had a counsellor to help with some issues.

“I did have a counsellor, I do still see her every now and then,” she told viewers. “But I don’t feel like I can really talk, so I just write everything down in my notes.

“I do wish, like, I could have had a more happier childhood. In the sense of like, I had so many things on my plate at a young age.”
