Popular iPad finally gets way more affordable – Apple slashes UK tablet prices

Apple has announced the launch of some mighty new iPads including a ludicrously powerful iPad Pro range and fully upgraded iPad Air tablets which now include a model with a bigger 13-inch screen.

It’s a massive update – full details here – but with prices starting from at least £599 (iPad Air) and £999 (iPad Pro) these tablets aren’t exactly cheap.

Luckily, there is some good news on price. Apple’s older and hugely popular 10th Gen iPad has just received a massive price cut.

Until recently, this device would have set you back a whopping £499 but that’s now been reduced to just £349 – that’s a drop of £150.

It’s a very welcome cut that now makes this a great tablet to buy especially if you think the latest AIr and Pro machines are too powerful for your daily digital needs.

You can find the iPad 10th Gen deal at the Apple Store as well as retailers such as John Lewis.

As a quick reminder, the 10th Gen iPad features a 10.9-inch screen that pushes closer to the edge of the metal chassis. That means there’s no Touch ID button on the front with this fingerprint scanner moving to the edge of the device and integrated into the power button.

It’s powered by Apple’s A14 processor, gets a decent rear camera and offers clever Centre Stage technology via its front-facing snapper. This makes sure you also stay perfectly in frame when making video calls.

Other features include long battery life, fast charging and it’s fully compatible with the latest Apple Pencil stylus.
