The 3-Tiered Heated Clothes Airer is on sale for £160 – down from £199 – and can hold up to two loads of washing at once and has received rave reviews from shoppers

Lakeland has kicked off a seasonal sale, offering discounts on a range of household gadgets designed to make home cleaning and organisation easier. One such bargain is the popular DrySoon heated airer that promises to dry laundry in just hours.

The 3-Tiered Heated Clothes Airer, which costs just 9p an hour to run and can hold up to two loads of washing weighing a maximum of 15kg, has been slashed from £199 to £159.99, saving customers £40.

The laundry gadget, one of Lakeland’s best-sellers, boasts over 1,000 customer reviews, with many praising its quick drying capabilities, particularly for school shirts. One satisfied customer shared: “I waited several months for this product, and having received it this week, I would have waited patiently for at least another six months.”

Another shopper praised its efficiency and tidiness, saying: “It dries school blouses/shirts quickly, socks in a few hours, and towels overnight and it keeps my landing really cosy. It also makes my house look tidier-no pants on radiators anymore in my house”.

A third customer was impressed by its ease of use and portability, stating: “So easy to set up – you just take it out of the box and switch it on. I am also surprised at how light it is to move around the house. I collected it from the post office yesterday and managed to dry two loads of washing overnight.”

“It is lovely not to have washing hanging over the radiators, I can at last feel the heat coming off my central heating. If you see a cheaper version available on the high street do not succumb. This is lighter, takes a greater amount of washing, and folds away when not in use into a much smaller device.”

But not everyone seems convinced of its effectiveness compared to other products out there. One shopper voiced their disappointment: “We bought this to replace our Dri Buddi. The huge amount of good reviews swung us. Unfortunately, it’s been a disappointment as although it is quicker than airing clothes normally it isn’t anywhere as fast at drying as the Dry-Soon Drying Pod. So we’ve exchanged it for the Pod (thanks Lakeland, wonderful customer service).”

The praised DrySoon Drying Pod features a cover that locks in warmth to expedite clothes drying. Available at Lakeland, it’s currently discounted to £79.99 from a previous £109.99.

Another satisfied customer expressed their contentment: “I have just received this after a long wait, but it was well worth the wait. It does exactly what it states. My washing dried overnight. I have already told two others who are ordering. Highly recommended.”

In a similar vein, Dunelm offers an own-brand three-tiered electric airer for £95, boasting 20m of drying space and a capacity of up to 15kg. Meanwhile, Amazon lists an Easy Shopping Electric Clothes Dryer for £32.99, perfect for those damp days when outdoor drying is off-limits, reports the Express.
