Halloween lovers rushing to buy the festive set think it looks beautiful as home decor
The Halloween countdown is on, and there’s no shortage of festive decor in shops, ready for customers who are keen to add to their homes. Known for its affordable ranges, Poundland is stocking a new crowdpleaser.
The retailer has introduced a £1 Salt and Pepper Shaker set that’s caught lots of attention on social media. Featuring two pumpkin-shaped shakers in orange and white, shoppers are “snapping up” the £1 set, with some saying they’re too nice to use as shakers.
Facebook page ‘Bag a Weekly Bargain’ delighted shoppers when it showcased the set in a viral post. The caption said: “Pick up these Pumpkin Salt and Pepper Shakers for £1 at Poundland,” and it earned over 1,000 likes and comments.
One fan shared: “Bought mine couple years ago for decoration.” A second said: “Use mine for decorational purposes rather than salt & pepper shakers.” A third thought: “Ideal Christmas present them I’m snapping a few up ASAP and what a bloody bargain.” A fourth thought: “Poundland is like a treasure trove of Halloween goodies. … going back for more next week.”
Elsewhere, a keen shopper said: “Wanted these for ages!” A fan wrote: “Got to have them.” Another praised: “These are cute,” and someone agreed: “Omg how cute we didn’t see them the other day.”
There were also lots of comments from fans who tagged friends, suggesting they would love the set. One such reply said: “Think this would finish your little collection nicely.” A similar reply read: “These would look fab for ur autumnal theme.”

Elsewhere, Halloween fans have been loving Home Bargains’ festive candle range. The themed candles received lots of attention when the retailer showcased the selection on Instagram. The post said: “New In: Halloween Candle Collection. Spooky season is here, and our brand-new Halloween range has just landed in store!”
The festive candles included the £2.49 Apothecary Bottle Scented Candles, with three different scents available. The product description for the ‘Love Potion’ bottle said: “Ignite the magic with the Mystic Midnight Apothecary Bottle candle, blending juicy blackcurrant and orange with mysterious oud and warm vanilla for a scent that’s truly unforgettable. Perfect for adding a touch of enchantment to any space!”
