Love Island’s Georgia Harrison has joined celebrity dating app Raya in the hope of finding ‘like-minded’ friends just weeks before the birth of her first child
Georgia Harrison has reportedly joined the celebrity dating app Raya just weeks before she gives birth.
The Love Island star is weeks away from welcoming her first child with Jack Stacey, who she met on the dating app.
Georgia has now set up a profile for the site hoping to find other connections. Raya is also used a platform for networking and forming alliances with mutual creatives and professionals around the world as well as helping users match with romantic partners.
The 30-year-old mum is looking for her next venture after making the transition from reality TV star to documentary-maker. Georgia became an activist for victims of so called ‘revenge porn’ after her ex Stephen Bear shared intimate footage of them without her knowledge or permission.
After a lengthy campaign, Bear was sentenced to prison for his crime and Georgia shared her story via her documentary.
Now, with her life evolving into motherhood, it’s perhaps easy to see why she may want to document her journey – and what better way than connecting with professionals who could provide her with that opportunity.
In her profile she said: “I fell in love on Raya and now I’m just here for the recommendations.” The savvy reality TV star used a picture of herself outside Number 10, Downing St as her profile picture and described herself as a presenter, author and activist.
Despite the fact Georgia’s boyfriend is worlds away from her celebrity lifestyle, she believes they have what it takes to create a TV show of their own, similar to TOWIE stars Billie and Greg Shepherd.
Georgia and Jack met on Raya and following a fast-paced relationship, ten months later she announced her pregnancy in April.
She told The Sun: “I think it would be really fun to do a reality TV show based around motherhood.”
The star attended a recent event hosted by AnSol Peach Playtime and added: “I think I’ve shared so much of the harder parts of my life through television. It would be really nice to actually be filming something that was highlighting the most important part of my life, which is when I actually found a happy ending, becoming a mother, getting to a stage that I’m actually having a lot of fun.”
But this something she would like to make a reality in the future, once she’s used to motherhood.
She continued: “But I don’t know what parenthood is going to be like yet. So, you know, when you do agree to film any sort of show, it is so much tougher than it looks. It’s not just like a camera pops in for an hour. You are filming like 10 to 12 hours a day.”
“It would be how he feels about it as well, because you would want to make sure that it makes your relationship stronger. But then look at Greg and Billie. They do so well doing their show. When I look at other couples within the public eye, that’s the sort of person, the sort of couple I would relate to, because Billie was always doing television like I was,” she explained.
Due to her previous trauma at the hands of Stephen Bear, she said that she will not allow her child to go online or have a phone.
