Kelsey Parker and her tree surgeon boyfriend Will Lindsay have been enjoying time in the sunshine on a trip to Gran Canaria ahead of the arrival of their first baby together
Pregnant Kelsey Parker has proudly shown off her growing baby bump as she enjoys a babymoon with her new partner, tree surgeon Will Lindsay. The 34-year-old author has two children, five year old Aurelia and four year old Bodhi, with the late Tom Parker – who died aged 33 in 2022 following a battle with cancer.
Kelsey and Will are looking forward to welcoming their first child together, while Aurelia and Bodhi are also excited to meet their younger sibling. Ahead of the new arrival, the young family have jetted off to Gran Canaria for a sun-soaked getaway.
Taking to social media, Kelsey has been updating fans from her trip – sharing photos from the beach and more. On Sunday, she shared a string of photos from the babymoon, showing her looking happy and relaxed.
The opening image showed Kelsey wearing a red bikini on the beach with a protective hand on her tummy. Will was at her side with a protective hand of his own supporting her. A second snap showed her wearing a bright pink dress, with an animal-print coat draped over her shoulders.
And a third image showed Kelsey flashing a bright smile while wearing an animal print bodysuit. She shared the images alongside a captions stating: “Blooming… (she’s finally popped!) Having the best time away in the sunshine with the fam.”
The images sparked a wave of comments from followers, with many commenting on how happy she looked. One wrote: “Congratsssss!! I’m so happy for you and your family.”
Another typed: “Beautiful kelsey. Little bubz will be loved and cherished by their big sis and big bro.” Kelsey’s pregnancy has not been smooth – as she was discovered to have pre-eclampsia, a condition impacting pregnant women that the NHS says can cause serious complications if left unmonitored and untreated.
Kelsey opened up about her diagnosis, and joked to Closer magazine: “My mum is brutal – she’s like, ‘Just get on with it’. No one should have her around when they’re having a baby.
“I had pre-eclampsia, and my mum was like, ‘Come on – just get the baby on your boob, Kelsey, and you’ll be all right’. I wouldn’t be able to get through each day if it wasn’t for the village.”
Kelsey also gave some advice to others, urging people to “reach out” if they don’t have anybody to assist them. She encouraged people not to be “afraid” to ask for help and not to “shy away”.
Last month, Kelsey marked Mother’s Day with an emotional tribute to Tom. She shared a number of images of the late The Wanted singer, including one of him cradling Bodhi as a baby, and another showing him beaming as he held both Aurelia and Bodhi on his lap when they were little.
Kelsey typed: “Three years without you. Energy can’t be destroyed only transferred. I can feel you with us everyday! We miss you so much baby. There’s not a day that goes by that we don’t miss you and don’t talk about you.”
She also shared the post on her Stories, and added: “Three years without you. But I feel you with us every day. We miss you.”
