Premier Inn has launched a big sale with rooms on offer for just £45.

If you are looking for an excuse to get out and about to explore a new part of the country, then this could be it. The budget hotel chain has cut the price of more than 100,000 rooms in locations across the UK.

Rooms can only be booked directly at www.premierinn.com and the cheapest rates are on offer at more than 350 of the chain’s 800+ hotels.

There are deals on offer across the UK, so whether you want to explore the beautiful Welsh coast from Aberystwyth, fancy a springtime seaside stroll in Torquay or a city break in Leeds you can find all of these locations and many more included. Also for those planning Bank holiday getaways abroad, hotels at several airport locations are included such as Stansted, Glasgow, Heathrow and Gatwick.

The £45 rooms are available on Friday – Sunday nights throughout May – just in time for both bank holidays as well as the May school half term.

There is a Premier Inn in Wells, Somerset, which Mirror Travel recently highlighted as one of the best places in the country to visit. The medieval gem has been named the UK’s best non-seaside town, even though technically, it’s not a town at all. The settlement is often referred to as England’s smallest city, due to its 12,000 population who live in the shadow of its magnificent, city-status making cathedral.

If sandcastles, seagulls and a slowly melting 99 are more your speed, then happily there is also a Premier Inn in Scarborough. The charming seaside town nestled in North Yorkshire, England, has been making waves for its breath-taking coastline and spectacular views over the North Sea. It was recently named one of the best holiday destinations in the UK.

A family of four can enjoy a break from as little as £11.25 per person, per night. With Premier Inn kids stay and eat breakfast for free, with adult morning meals costing £10.99.

If you are in the mood for a travel bargain, then the £69.99 3-Piece Diamond Hard Shell Luggage Suitcase Set may be up your street. Recently the Mirror’s Laura McKenna came across it and “couldn’t resist giving it a try.”

“As a travel enthusiast always on the hunt for budget-friendly yet quality gear, finding a cabin case, medium case and a large-size suitcase for less than the price of a single case from designer brands like Antler, almost seemed too good to be true,” she wrote.

“Channelling my inner Barbie, the three-piece set came in a gorgeous dusky pink colour which was perfect for my upcoming girlie trip away. If pink isn’t your thing, the suitcase set also comes in blue, black and silver and is just one of many low-cost luggage sets available from Wowcher.” You can read her full review here.
