Primark shoppers are heaping praise on a “lush” pair of trousers they’ve spotted online. The retailer is well known for its budget-friendly fashion and homeware – and shoppers may have a new favourite product.
With warmer weather arriving – and hopefully sticking around – many people are thinking about making changes to their style. For those wanting to brighten up or add some lighter items to wardrobes, Primark might have just the thing.
TikTok user @prmark_lincoln shared a clip of the retailer’s Tie Waist Trousers. It was captioned: “The weather’s warming up, that can only mean one thing…linen trouser time!!”
The video racked up 197k views, more than 8,000 likes and many comments from excited shoppers. Among them, one person said: “Okay I need to buy ASAP.”
A second wrote: “I’m gonna go tomorrow.” A third added: “Oooo I like these.”
A fourth impressed shopper said: “I brought these in black for when I give birth to wear lose round the hospital and there super super comfy and lightweight lush got the next size up so they wasn’t tight.”
A different shopper wrote: “I need the cream ones.” Tagging a friend, one said: “We need.” A second wrote: “Omg these are so good.”
Other shoppers expressed concerns that the trousers could be ‘see through.’ However, replying to one comment, a shopper said: “I bought them yesterday and they are not see through for me, and I bought white and black.”
Primark’s Tie Waist Trousers are priced at £14 and are available in three shades; white, black and natural. They are described as a pair of “cotton blend trousers with tie detailing to the waist.”
