Primark shoppers ‘love’ the retailer’s new accessories for Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter Tour
Beyoncé’s fans are counting down the days until the singer arrives in the UK for her Cowboy Carter Tour, and concert-goers searching for themed outfits love Primark’s new accessories. The retailer is selling fashionable cowboy hats starting from £9, much to the delight of shoppers.
The styles have impressed social media users who say they “need” the popular concert accessory, with many keen to get their hands on the hats. One excited shopper who posts on TikTok as @kiddoadventures showcased the range in a video with over 125,000 views.
They wrote: “38 days until the queen is back in London! I found these hats at the Tottenham Court Road Primark.” Primark’s selection includes a £9 Straw Cowboy Hat with Trim, available in tan or black, and a £9 Woven Straw Cowboy Hat, available in beige.
Both Straw Cowboy Hats are available for click and collect. The product description says: “Yeehaw! Treat your accessories edit to a new season makeover with this western-inspired cowboy hat!”
As seen in the viral video, Primark’s in-store range also includes £12 cowboy hats decorated with sequin stars, available in white or blue. There are also more £9 hats featuring different trim designs.
Viewers loved what they saw. Replying to the video, someone commented: “Omg I’m gonna go buy my hat.” Another fan said: “I guess my first stop when I fly in from Australia will be Primark.” A third commenter simply said: “Wow.” A fourth added: “Omgggg.”
A keen shopper wrote: “I need that brown one.” A different comment read: “They’re so nice.” Someone else shared: “I’ve got the star one for her ready!!!” while Primark commented: “Ready for Queen Bey.”
Meanwhile, a shopper replying to @gracekabasele’s video about the star hats said: “Gorg!!!!” A second said: “Love love love!!!” and @gracekabasele commented: “I’m obsessed!!”
Planning their outfit, another social media user said: “I need boots asap.” Primark shoppers might like the £24 Paula Echevarría Cowboy Boots, available in black or taupe. Primark describes the style as “sleek cowboy boots with pointed toes.”
Elsewhere, ASOS is one of several other retailers offering a selection of cowboy hats. For instance, there’s a My Accessories sequin star patch festival cowboy hat in silver that’s similar to Primark’s star cowboy hat. It’s currently on offer from £24 down to £20.40 ASOS also has an ASOS DESIGN cowboy hat with diamante fringe in black discounted from £28 to £19.60.
Alternatively, shoppers searching for cowboy boots might like the Public Desire Calabasas western embroidery high pointed toe cowboy boots available from ASOS for £44.99.
There are rose gold and silver colour options. The retailer has also discounted its ASOS DESIGN Roan western heeled boots with stones in black from £50 to £25.
Beyoncé’s tour kicked off in California in April, and she plays her first of her six London shows on June 5.
