Shoppers were praising the ‘dream’ product that had so many positive reviews online – with others keen to try it out

Primark shoppers could pocket some serious savings if they consider swapping their favourite high-end beauty items for some of the store’s more affordable range. With products starting from as little as £1, you could trim pounds off your beauty bill by shopping at Primark.

One customer says they’ve been so impressed by one of Primark’s latest beauty products that they can no longer keep it a secret. On TikTok, user @Shannon_mitch disclosed her ‘new favourite’ beauty staple is Primark’s ‘Pro Hydration Cream’.

Many shoppers say the cream is a wonderfully affordable alternative to Charlotte Tilbury’s award-winning ‘Magic Cream’ – and it is ‘just as good’. The designer brand prices a 50ml pot at £79, meaning Primark fans can save £73 by choosing the high-street store’s own-brand version.

Primark’s Pro Hydration Cream is described as “an important step in your skin care routine”. Primark says: “Its silky texture is designed to help it easily absorb into the skin and it boasts SPF 15 for added protection during the day.”

Shannon wrote in her video, which has had over 133,000 views, that “Primark has done it again”. She added: “This hydration cream is just a dream!”

As she applied it to her skin, Shannon said it “feels like a luxe quality product” and couldn’t believe the “little tub of magic” only had a single figure price point. She ended by saying she “knows” it will be viral soon and planned to stock up.

Others were quick to comment on the “glowing skin” the cream produced. Some also pointed out how easy it was to apply makeup on top.

Another added: “Ooh I’ve never tried Primark for beauty products. Going to give this a go.” Someone else wrote: “I love this as well. Always feel so smooth and soft afterwards!”

Another TikTok user (@beautyglowgirl) also tried the product on camera and did a side-by-side comparison. They said it was “definitely not the same” but did say the Primark product “lovely under makeup” and did leave their skin feeling “ultra hydrated”.

Primark does offer a stock checking function on its website for those keen on claiming a bottle for themselves. Once you find the item you love online, look up your postcode to filter straight to your nearest Primark stores that have items available.

Small items like this usually aren’t included in the Click and Collect service available at certain branches across the UK. Shoppers will need to head out and pick theirs up in person.
