Meghan Markle teases new Netflix show in trailer

Meghan Markle’s latest Netflix show is a love letter to her new life in the US, showing off all the fun parts of her world.

She’s joined by friends, neighbours and celebrities as she shares her favourite lifestyle hacks in a very polished format. And while Meghan mentions her family throughout the episodes, her children Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet don’t appear in the series at all, and we only see husband Prince Harry briefly.

He joins a group of guests invited to a brunch to celebrate Meghan’s new As Ever business in the final episode. Dressed casually in a polo shirt and sunglasses, Harry greets his wife with a kiss. He’s seen admiring his wife’s beautifully laid table which has been set out in the garden, before accepting her offer of a mimosa.

While other guests tuck into the impressive spread of food, Harry can be seen pulling Meghan in for a hug. Resting her head on Harry’s shoulder, she asks: “Good, right?” He quietly tells her: “Well done. You did a great job.”

She goes on to give a short speech as she toasts her guests, during which Harry watches on lovingly. She says: “This feels like a new chapter that I’m so excited I get to share. I’ve been able to learn from all of you. So just thank you for the love and support. And here we go, it’s a business. All of it is part of the creativity that I’ve missed so much.”

While Harry only appears on camera once, Meghan told PEOPLE magazine that he often popped in to say hello when they were filming. But when he was there, he had a clear message he wanted everyone to be clear on – it was Meghan’s moment.

A member of the crew told the publication: “Whenever Harry visited set, he was always super polite and friendly, but it was clear he wanted this to be Meghan’s moment to shine.” Meghan also opened up about her relationship with Harry in the exclusive interview, which dropped on the eve of the show’s release.

She claimed the couple have been back in the “honeymoon period” since she started working on the Netflix show and her new lifestyle brand, As Ever. She says that it allowed her to get back into her creative mindset, just like she did when working on her pre-royal lifestyle blog The Tig. Her new brand is expected to be very similar to her old blog, which focused on food, travel, beauty and hosting.

She told the publication: “My husband met me when I had The Tig, and I see this spark in his eye when he sees me doing the thing that I was doing when he first met me.

“It’s almost like a honeymoon period again because it’s exactly how it was in the beginning when he’d watch me scribbling away, writing newsletters, fine-tuning edits and just really being in the details of it. I think he loves watching as much as I love doing that creative process. It’s just been fun. This is who I’ve always been.”

Meghan decided to close The Tig down after her relationship with Harry became serious, a decision she says she doesn’t regret. She said that while she loved the site and the community she’d created, she “loved [her] husband more”.

With Love, Meghan is available to watch on Netflix now.
