TV propagandist Vladimir Solovyov has slammed Donald Trump for threatening Russia with sanctions if Putin fails to go ahead with a ceasefire. He said Russia has more work to do
A Russian TV propagandist has insisted that the war against Ukraine will rage on despite the US calling for peace.
Vladimir Solovyov, who is known as the mouthpiece for President Vladimir Putin, mocked Donald Trump for encouraging his country to go ahead with a ceasefire. The TV star laid into several world leaders including Volodymyr Zelensky and France’s Emmanuel Macron, who he called a “pathetic nobody”.
During his rant, Solovyov mocked the US President after he threatened to slap the country with sanctions for failing to stop the war. Solovyov said the chaos must continue until Russia can “ensure the security of our country for generations to come.”

Solovyov’s TV scripts are created by his Kremlin paymasters, suggesting he is directly voicing Putin’s thinking, with the diatribe threatening to widen the war by exploding Europe’s largest oil terminal port in Rotterdam, critical for both the EU and Britain.
This came as the Russian dictator launched a new wave of strikes on Kyiv and Dnipropetrovsk, killing a girl, 12, and leaving four people wounded with yet another Russian murderous strike on a residential building, which was reduced to rubble.
Ukraine exploded a major oil facility at the strategic Russian port Novorossiysk, engulfing it in flames, with a suspected Neptune missile strike. Meanwhile, an analysis shows that Russian state TV has censored Trump’s recent criticisms of Putin, while playing up the US leader’s attacks on Zelensky.
Speaking about the potential sanctions, Solovyov said: “Whether Trump imposes sanctions on us or not — what difference does it make? Our land is not yet liberated. The tasks set by the Supreme Commander-in-Chief [Putin] have not yet been fully accomplished.
“We need to ensure the security of our country for generations to come. We are not going to think in terms of ‘ceasefire or not ceasefire’.” He added: “Trump is not Putin. He does not have the full authority or capabilities.”
