Rebekah Vardy, who is married to Leicester City star, Jamie Vardy, has finally agreed to pay Coleen Rooney almost £1.2m of her legal costs after the bitter Wagatha Christie battle
Rebekah Vardy put the latest Wagatha Christie drama to one side at the weekend when she was spotted drinking beer with the Leicester City fans. The wife of footballer, Jamie Vardy, 43, has finally agreed to pay Coleen Rooney £1.19 million of her legal costs after the bitter battle at the High Court.
Rebekah is yet to comment on having to shelling out the cash to her arch nemesis, 39. However, she looked like her legal woes were the furthest thing from her mind when she rocked up to see Nottingham Forest take on Leicester City in a game, which ended 2-2.

Spotted in the away end, sporting a Leicester shirt with a pair of designer sunglasses perched on her head, holding a beer, Rebekah looked happy and relaxed as she smiled for a selfie next to a fan.
She was also pictured in the crowd watching the match as husband, Jamie, tried and failed to score his 200th goal for the Foxes in a game, which had both sets of fans up on their feet.
After the match, Rebekah posed with Jamie and the couple’s kids, who were proudly sporting Leicester City shirts as they supported the striker, who confirmed that he will leave the football club at the end of the season.
Rebekah’s day out comes after the latest drama in the Wagatha Christie trial. The mum-of-five was involved in one of the country’s most high profile court cases after attempting to sue Coleen following the Scouser’s now infamous social media post in 2019.
Coleen, the wife of Man Utd star, Wayne, took to social media to reveal that she had secretly hatching a sting operation after a slew of stories shared on her private social media had been leaked to the media. The savvy Scouser narrowed down accounts with access to her posts in order to discover which account was leaking the information.
In 2019, she took to social media to reveal: “It was….. Rebekah Vardy’s account,” after blocking her followers from seeing her Instagram Stories, which included a fake story that she was heading to Mexico for gender selection, as well as eyeing up a stint on Strictly Come Dancing.
Rebekah has strongly denied the allegations and implied that her Instagram account had been hacked. However, she lost her subsequent defamation case against Coleen and has now been ordered to pay almost £1.2million.
A specialist costs court has previously been told that Coleen ran up a legal bill totalling more than £1.8 million after she successfully defended Rebekah’s High Court claim in 2022.
In written submissions for a hearing last Tuesday, Rebekah’s barrister, Juliet Wells, said that Coleen’s total legal bill of £1,833,906.89 “has now been settled at £1,190,000, being c.£1,125,000 plus interest of c.£65.000”.
