Rihanna has ditched her long blonde locks in favour of a more natural look. The songstress is launching Fenty Hair – the latest addition to her fashion and beauty empire
Rihanna looked incredible as she showed off her natural curls at the Fenty Hair launch.
The 36-year-old Umbrella songstress debuted her new look at the Los Angeles event on Monday. Rihanna announced last week that she was adding yet another business venture to her fashion and beauty empire, following the success of her best-selling makeup, skincare and lingerie lines.
The mother of two has ditched her long blonde locks in favour of a more stripped-back and natural look. Rihanna’s short honey-coloured curls showed off her stunning facial features, which she accentuated with sparkling copper eyeshadow and a striking dark lip.
Making sure all eyes were on her, Rihanna dressed in a jaw-dropping red leather ensemble. The fashion icon finished off her look with a choker necklace embellished with massive ruby jewels, matching rings, and wine-coloured heels.

Fenty Hair is set to officially launch on June 13. The billionaire businesswoman announced the arrival of her latest line on Instagram last week, writing: ‘A new family is moving in! @fentyhair is pullin up and it’s time to finally have the hair experience you’ve been waiting for. You know how much switching my hair up matters to me.”
Promising that her brand would serve people with “all types of hair”, she added: “I’ve had almost every texture, color, length, from weaves to braids to natural – so I am launching a flexible line of products for not only every hair want, but every single product is designed to strengthen and repair all types of hair, which is what we truly need! It’s time to play and get stronger by the style.”
The Grammy winner – who is well known for her ever-changing and adventurous hairstyles – has been dropping heavy hints about her new endeavour for a while. Speaking to Allure in April, Rihanna said: “I get bored. I get bored, and I need to move on to something, or I’m going to crawl out of my body. Cut it. I don’t care. It’s hair. It’ll grow back. Bleach it, whatever. Just do something.”
Recognising that not everyone feels as bold as her when it comes to switching up their hair, she added: “I feel like a lot of people get scared to play with hair because it’s such a huge part of your identity.”
