Kenneth Noye, who spent more than two decades in prison for stabbing a motorist to death in 1996, was spotted cosying up to an alpaca on a farm in Kent

Road rage killer Kenneth Noye shows he has a fluffier side to his personality as he strokes his adopted pet alpaca.

An onlooker who saw the ex-gangster at his girlfriend’s farm in Kent said: “He looked like any other animal lover. I had to do a double take.”

Noye, 77, spent more than 20 years behind bars for stabbing motorist Stephen Cameron, 21, to death by the M25 in 1996.

Noye’s trial heard he was on his way to a get-together at his local pub when he knifed Stephen twice, in the heart and liver.

He was acquitted of murdering a policeman in 1985 but was convicted in 1986 of conspiracy to handle stolen goods from the £26million of gold nicked in the Brink’s-Mat raid.

But his new friend could help keep him on the straight and narrow, as alpacas are known for reducing anger and increasing empathy.
