Ryanair has slashed the price on a range of European flights this autumn, ideal for anyone looking to escape the UK without breaking the bank. The deal includes popular destinations like Spain, Italy, France, and more.

Prices depend on the airport you fly from, the destination you want to visit, and when you plan to travel during the sale period. Some routes are being sold for just £14.99 per person (based on one-way flights). Announcing the sale on Instagram, a Ryanair spokesperson said: “What a bargain!” The discounts apply to selected flights that take off between September 1 and October 31.

Travellers looking to get away for a few days at a cheaper rate than normal only have today (August 7) to book their getaway before prices are gone for good. Below, we’ve looked at some examples of the cheapest flights we can see online.

Flying from Liverpool’s John Lennon Airport, people can book to visit Szczecin in Poland from £14.99 per person. Most outbound departures cost £15 per person, and some returning trips cost the same.

There is a five-night trip (Sept 22-26) that costs £29.98 per person. If you just fancied a long weekend away, you can fly for £41.73 per person between Sept 27 and return on Sept 29.

Italy is also an option, with five days in Milan (October 6-10) for £33 per person. Some flights to Ireland are quite affordable and regular, like Cork, where a weekend away (September 13-14) would cost £38.98 per person.

From Cardiff Airport, people could take a trip to the Republic of Ireland’s capital, Dublin, for £17.99 each way, per person. Most September dates are available at this discounted rate, making a five-night trip (Sept 9-13) cost £33.98 per person or a quick weekend away (Sept 20-21) worth £33.98 as well.

Glasgow Airport has a similar deal on Dublin flights—but it includes more dates in October—from £16.99 each way per person. For example, travelling between October 6-11 would cost £33.98 per person, while a short stay (Oct 25-26) costs the exact same.

London Stansted has the biggest list of discounted destinations, totalling 29, both inside the UK and in wider Europe. People could book to visit Valencia, in Spain, for some late summer sunshine (£39.88, flying Sept 17-24).
