Actor Sacha Baron Cohen has been seen wearing his wedding ring some two months after his marriage split from Wedding Crashers actress Isla Fisher was announced
Sacha Baron Cohen has been spotted seemingly wearing his wedding ring some two months after announcing his split from wife Isla Fisher.
The 52-year-old Ali G actor was spotted without the wedding band last week but in new photos, he is seen with a band on his wedding ring finger as it seems that he has changed his mind on wearing it. Sacha was wearing a navy jumper and flat cap as he took a stroll in the North London sunshine.
Sacha and Isla announced their split in April, saying that they had parted ways last year, thirteen years after marrying. They share three children together and the announcement jointly appeared on their Instagram pages.
This follows Rebel Wilson claiming that Sacha was a “fourth-grade bully” in her memoir, after they worked together on the movie Grimsby. Sacha hit back through his lawyers and said that the allegations had “no basis in reality” and were just a “cynical commercial ploy to promote her book”.
Following the accusation, a spokesperson for Sacha responded to the Mirror, stating: “While we appreciate the importance of speaking out, these demonstrably false claims are directly contradicted by extensive detailed evidence, including contemporaneous documents, film footage, and eyewitness accounts from those present before, during and after the production of The Brothers Grimsby.”
Last month, Rebel broke her silence on Sacha and Isla’s split saying that “the timing wasn’t great” for the actor. The Bridesmaid actress commented the former couple’s divorce could have been due to Sacha’s “general treatment to women”. Rebel also claimed she enjoyed a friendship with Isla “before all this happened” after they worked together on a film in 2012.
The Pitch Perfect actress then revealed she has not spoken to Fisher since the mum-of-three’s divorce announcement, saying: “I haven’t spoken to her. Obviously, I used to be friends with her before all this happened. We did a movie together called Bachelorette.” While Sacha has decided to wear his wedding ring again, Isla has been without hers for months and has been enjoying nights out with her friends in London before jetting out to Mexico, where she celebrated the wedding of Naomi Watts and Billy Crudup.
