Buying a brand-new television can be a costly business, especially for shoppers looking for a top spec option that will provide the ultimate viewing experience. Thankfully Argos is on hand to help, with the stylish Samsung 43-inch Smart 4K UHD HDR LED TV now selling at the retailer’s lowest ever price of £239.

That’s not all, as shoppers can get a 10% discount on the television for a limited time when they enter the code RED10 at the checkout, bringing the price down to £215.10. This makes Argos the cheapest place to buy the TV, with Amazon selling a second-hand used option for £230.87, while Very is offering a brand-new version on sale for £239, down from £329.

The slim Samsung Smart 4K TV is packed with high-tech features to provide ‘crystal clear picture and sound’, including Adaptive Sound technology and a Crystal Processor 4K that will upscale your favourite content to 4K Ultra HD. The television is powered by Tizen which offers a huge variety of digital TV channels, 4K films, and catch-up TV apps through the Samsung Universal Guide.

The 43-inch smart television also comes with Samsung TV Plus which gives instant access to more channels; simply connect it to the internet and sit back and watch films, entertainment, sports, news, and children’s channels. The TV is a perfect choice for gamers, as it offers access to the Samsung Gaming Hub that brings together the biggest consoles and streaming games. If you already have a Game Pass and compatible controller, you can turn on the TV and start playing; there are no downloads, storage limits, or consoles required.

Shoppers looking for a more budget-friendly TV may wish to check out the Hisense 43 Inch 4K Smart TV that’s on sale at Amazon for £189.05.

Over 130 Argos customers have reviewed the Samsung 43-inch Smart 4K UHD HDR LED TV to date, with it earning an impressive overall rating of 4.6 out of five. One thrilled buyer awarded it full marks and said: “Really pleased so far with this TV. Easy to set up. Very slimline. Great picture quality and sound.”

A second wrote: “Bought this TV to replace the one in my kitchen after it stopped working. I was pleasantly surprised by the resolution and features for this TV, it has all the apps I need and I’m enjoying the 4K picture quality when watching films. A very reasonable price of £240.”

“Beautifully sharp colours,” commented another delighted buyer. “We decided to go with the newest technology and get a smart TV (our son set it up for us though). Now it’s up and running, we love it. The picture is so clear and the colours in the picture are beautiful. We have got used to the two remote controls and the TV guide, overall we are pleased we made the change.”

Unfortunately one shopper had an issue with the base of the TV, as they explained: “I put the stand on and it wouldn’t sit on my TV unit. I took it back and spent another £140 on another Samsung TV with a proper stand.”

However, another customer was left delighted, as their five-star review reads: “Great TV, great price. Bought as a replacement for my previous Samsung, easy to set up with a crystal picture.”
