Sharon Stone appeared to be furious at events on the set of Another Simple Favor, starring Anna Kendrick and Blake Lively, and allegedly left a comment on an article about the production

Sharon Stone has claimed she was “unexpectedly” dropped from the cast of a new movie which is already facing claims of trouble on set.

Sharon, 67, has hit out at the production team of the upcoming film, Another Simple Favor. The production is already dealing with allegations there has been a feud between the leading stars, Blake Lively and Anna Kendrick.

Now, it has been reported the Basic Instinct star had left a fuming comment under a news article which had been analysing the duo’s alleged fallout. The apparent comment, which has since appeared to have been deleted, said: “I LOVED being cast and removed from my role unexpectedly for no reason at all LOVED it [clapping emojis].” It follows allegations of a feud between Blake and Anna – and Anna’s recent action sent fans into overdrive further.

The actresses, 39 and 37 respectively, have teamed up for a sequel to their 2018 comedy thriller A Simple Favor. The follow-up, Another Simple Favor, had its premier at the SXSW film festival in Austin, Texas earlier this month.

However, two videos from the event have since gone viral. Both of the clips show Anna’s quick wit as she’s asked about Blake’s recent legal drama involving It End With Us co-star Justin Baldoni. During the red carpet for the screening event, a reporter asked Kendrick: “How do you feel that the movie is being impacted by everything going on… in the world?”

While the question could have been about the threat of World War 3, it could also have had a reference to the legal dramas surrounding her co-star. However, she didn’t flinch, responding with a smile before moving along the line: “Why? What happened? I did Ayahuasca and the last year of my life has just gone, but I’ve heard the movie is amazing!”

“Anna Kendrick mastering the art of saying a lot without saying anything at all,” wrote one fan, with another describing it as “Oscar-winning evasion”.

In another moment Anna was filmed as she signed autographs and took selfies with fans. She was then asked what it was like to be working with Blake. With a blunt comment, she responded: “Oh you know.“ The telling remark was a huge contrast to Blake’s comments about working with Anna. When Blake was asked the same question in reverse, she said: “Oh it’s the best, I’m so happy.”
