Sky has reduced the cost of its Essential TV, Netflix and broadband bundle to its cheapest ever price, with shoppers able to save £120 across the life of the plan

Sky has kicked off March with a bang, bringing back a popular deal that sees a TV and broadband bundle drop to its ‘lowest ever price’. Brits can now get Sky’s Essential TV and Full Fibre 150 broadband for £35 per month, knocking £5 off the usual price.

Sky announced ‘our lowest ever price is back’ as it slashed the package from the usual £40. This means savvy shoppers signing up for the TV, Netflix and broadband bundle can pocket a cool £120 saving on their bills over the life of the plan.

With the Essential TV pack, members gain access to more than 100 channels, including Sky Atlantic – home of The White Lotus and The Last of Us – Sky Arts and Sky Sports News. It also includes the major free-to-air channels like BBC, ITV, Channel 4 and many more.

The combined bundle also comes with free subscriptions to Netflix and Discovery+, with the option to add Sky Cinema and Sky Sports to the package for an extra £10 and £20 respectively. The latest deal also includes 150Mbps fibre broadband, with no upfront costs to get things up and running.

Sky is among the providers to introduce the new One Touch Switch scheme, which means customers don’t have to contact their existing broadband provider to complete the switch. With this, Sky will contact them on customers behalf and do the necessary leg work, reports the Express.

Sky has also recently launched its new Ultimate TV pack, offering more than 40 extra channels including Sky Showcase, Sky Crime, Sky Documentaries and Sky Comedy for an extra £4 per month. This is all accessible via Sky Stream, the company’s new device that provides TV and streaming services through WiFi instead of a traditional satellite dish.

However, it requires a minimum speed of 25Mbps to function, so customers are advised to check their available speeds during checkout. It’s also worth noting that the cheaper prices require a 24-month commitment, and Sky warns that prices ‘may change’ during the minimum term, including the annual April price rise implemented by many firms.

In other news, Amazon has unveiled some mega price drops on a range of smart TVs, including its own, new and improved 43″ Fire TV 4-series, that’s down to £249.99 from £429.99. There’s also £200 off the rival Hisense 43″ 4K smart TV, available for £229.
