A Sky employee died after a fall from height at the firm’s headquarters Grant Way in Osterley, west London early on Monday morning, it has been confirmed

An employee from Sky died after a fall from the firm’s headquarters in London, it has been confirmed.

Emergency services were called to Osterley in west London on Monday morning following the incident. Paramedics were unable to save the life of the unnamed person, who was pronounced dead at the scene.

A Siren alert was made to all employees which asked them to work from home. A spokesman told MailOnline: “We are deeply saddened to confirm a Sky employee passed away at our Osterley campus on Monday morning.

“Our thoughts and full support are with their family, friends and colleagues during this difficult time.”

The message sent to employees said: “This is a message from SIREN, Sky’s Emergency Notification System. Multi storey car park 2 will be closed in Osterley today.

“Unless you urgently need to be in be in Osterley today, you may wish to consider working from home. Multi storey car park 2 is closed today due to an incident which is currently being investigated.”
