Apple rarely offers big discounts on its MacBook products but that doesn’t mean you can’t find a bargain. It might surprise some to discover that Sky offers these popular products on contract and things have just been slashed to their lowest ever price. The new deal means you can take delivery of the very latest MacBook Air M4 and pay just £20 per month.

By spreading the cost, it makes owning these premium PCs feel far more affordable, especially as there’s just a £2 upfront fee to pay.

OF course, you will have to sign up for a 48-month contract but if you add everything up the total price is just £962 – that’s actually cheaper than buying directly from Apple, where the MacBook Air M4 costs £999.

Along with the standard model, Sky is also offering versions with more memory and a bigger screen.

That means you can get the. more impressive 512GB version for only £24 a month (was £26), with £12 upfront.

Want a larger display? The MacBook Air 15-inch M4 (2025) 256GB is now £24 a month (was £26) with a £12 upfront cost.

Before you tap the buy button, it’s worth noting that there are cheaper deals. Firstly, Apple is offering £100 off the Air to students heading off to university.

John Lewis is also currently selling this device for £899 and Amazon is stocking the M4 Air for just £859.97. The only downside of these UK retailer deals is that you do have to pay all of the money upfront rather than spreading the cost.

So, what do you get for your money, and should you invest in a MacBook Air?

This new slimline machine from Apple was announced earlier this year and the biggest upgrade is its M4 processor. This very impressibe chip makes everything feel faster, fluid and more capable than before. All models also now ship with at 16GB of RAM for an added boost.

Other features include ludicrously long battery life which can last up to 18 hours, a pin-sharp screen, decent sound and market-leading Force Touch trackpad.

MagSafe charging offers an easy way to boost the power, a fingerprint scanner makes it secure to access the laptop and Apple Intelligence comes included.

There’s even a striking new Sky Blue colour to choose from, which now joins Midnight, Silver and Starlight in the line-up.

The only things Express.co.uk criticises it in our full MacBook Air M4 review were the lack of upgrade options after purchase, all the ports being on one side and the fact it can get very expensive if you start adding more memory and storage.

If you are happy with the base option with 256GB hard drive then the new deal from Sky finally makes owning a MacBook feel a lot less daunting for the monthly finances.
