Shoppers who treat themselves to a new Sol De Janeiro limited edition spray can bag themselves a free gift from the brand at checkout – here’s how
With spring in full swing and summer on the horizon, viral brand Sol De Janeiro has released three brand new divine smelling perfume mists that shoppers are going wild for. Available at Cult Beauty, Boots and Lookfantastic the brand behind the popular Brazilian Bum Bum Cream has launched Flor Mistica, Aqua Mistica and Danca Mistica, all for £24. And for those shopping at the latter, there’s a little treat in store at the checkout too.
Having dropped at the start of April, the brand announced the new products on its Instagram, describing what each new fragrance embodies.
Coming in vibrant bottles (whose lids have a watery effect design) which match the vivacious scent, the bright sky blue Água Mística is “a fresh and crisp fragrance with notes of neroli water, tangerine, and salty skin accord”, while Flor Mística’s pinky coral bottle delivers “a dreamy and bright fragrance with notes of orange blossom, flamingo flower, and golden musk.”

As for Dança Mística’s leafy green bottle, the spritz has “A sparkling and rich fragrance with notes of purple fig, warm vanilla, and sandalwood”.
Now being limited edition, it does mean that the scents won’t be around forever so if you want to snap them up, they’re available on Lookfantastic for £24. But there’s more – you can bag yourself a free Cheirosa 59 Perfume Mist or Brazilian Bum Bum Cream when you spend over £40 or £60 on new in products at Lookfantastic (while stock lasts), including the new in limited edition sprays.
Plus, if you buy all three products, you can get both a Sol de Janeiro Cheirosa 59 Perfume Mist 30ml and Sol de Janeiro Brazilian Bum Bum Cream 75ml, which usually retails at £21, for free.
Naturally, as soon as shoppers got their hands on one, two or all three bottles, the compliments came flooding in, with many taking to social media to share their love of the new limited edition sprays, with many saying how ‘incredible’ they smell.
One person raved that these sprays were ‘such a must’ saying how they can be worn “anytime, after the shower, after skincare, going out!! Ahhh”.
Another pleaded with the brand after trying them: “Please make these permanent and in mini size please.”
On Cult Beauty, one Sol De Janeiro fan gave the Aqua Mistica a five star review which read: “I am a SJ super fan. Any new scent or product they release I have to get my hands on. So of course the new summer fragrances were a must have. I absolutely love this scent. It smells of summer and holiday, I love it and have received many compliments.”
Although it wasn’t loved by all as one person left a three star review after being left underwhelmed. They said: “Bit boring. Smells like salty orange cordial.”
Someone else found they were a lovely option but not as good as the original SDJ fragrances: “Really like this one. Not as good as the originals but very nice and beachy.”
At £24, these sprays are a lot cheaper than your regular perfume, making them ideal to just slot into your bag for a day or night out, and will keep you smelling fresh on holiday. These new limited edition sprays rival the likes of PHLUR’s Coconut Skin Body Mist, £25 at SpaceNK and Lush’s Let The Good Times Roll body spray, £25 for a 200ml bottle – in terms of price. For something a little cheaper, you can’t go wrong with Hawaiian Tropic, whose Tropical Oasis Body Mist is on sale at Amazon for £8.80.
