A doctor and nutritionist has now revealed her secret to an ‘amazing’ soup that’s her staple when she’s not at her best.

Dr Hazel Wallace, also known as @thefoodmedic on Instagram, regularly dazzles her 838,000 followers with healthy recipes, and one of her latest posts showcases how to whip up her special tomato-based concoction that should help you feel better in no time.

To rustle up this immune-boosting dish, gather some cherry tomatoes, an onion, red peppers, garlic, vegetable stock, and herbs of your choice. Start by roasting all the tomatoes, onion, red pepper, and herbs in a splash of olive oil.

Once everything is nicely caramelised, you’ll need a blender to turn it all into a soup. Dr Wallace recommends adding a sprinkle of chilli flakes for kick and serving with a scrumptious cheese toastie. You can fin d the full recipe on Dr Wallace’s Instagram post.
