This Sprite flavour is seasonal and limited edition – which is a shame to some because they are absolutely obsessed with it. So would you give the festive product a go?
It’s the time of year when a lot of us indulge in our favourite food and drinks.
And if you’re a fan of something fizzy, Sprite might be on the menu for you this year. The pop is great on its own or to use as a mixer for cocktails.
In particular, people have been loving a festive edition of the popular soda. The wintry Sprite flavour has been causing a stir ever since it returned to shelves.
The Sprite Winter Spiced Cranberry drink burst onto the scene five years ago when Coca-Cola chiefs gave the classic Sprite Cranberry a makeover. It boasts a cosy blend of spiced, tart cranberry with a twist of lemon and lime.
Reacting to the product on Reddit, one foodie gushed: “This stuff is one of the only good things about winter.” And another said: “Winter sucks but at least I get Sprite cranberry.”
While it seems to have fully taken off in the US, there are people in the UK who are only just hearing about the flavour.
When the New Foods UK page spotlighted the product on its page, people were very excited. Their post exclaimed: “New Winter Spiced Cranberry Sprite!”
Enthusiastic reviews poured in: “Wow, this is better than we expected. The flavours that come through are incredible – really enjoyed this! ” Another said: “Loved this.”
One social media user gushed: “I tried it yesterday from a local sweet shop, might have to go back for another can.” Another enthusiast tagged their mate commenting: “Sounds right up your street.”
So would you try it? You may have to look a bit further than your local supermarket if you want to give it a go.
You might find the limited edition delight in corner shops or you can get it online from World Snacks UK for £1.99 per can or from Candy Mail UK. You can also get your hands on a pack of six or 12 from The American Store.
