Stacey Solomon, 34, has put her Halloween decorations up and shared a video on Instagram to show her fans what Pickle Cottage now looks like. She said her children love it
Stacey Solomon has unveiled the amazing Halloween decorations she put up at her home – and her kids love them.
The 34-year-old TV presenter, who rose to fame after starring on The X Factor in 2009, said decorating Pickle Cottage for Halloween is one of her favourite traditions, adding she loves seeing her children’s reactions. She used branches she got from the side of the road and made a cauldron made from a bucket to decorate the home.
She also added some pumpkins from her neighbour, who is a farmer, and also put up some skeletons she has collected over the years. The mum-of-five admitted that it’s still early for Halloween but said she had to finish decorating the home ahead of an event at her home on Thursday.
Stacey shared a video on Instagram to show her fans how she decorated Pickle Cottage. And the mum also included a clip of her children getting excited as they returned from school and found the decorations up.
She wrote in the caption: “The Halloween Door. One of my favourite traditions. Seeing the kids come home from school and gets so excited is my favourite. Literally so proud of this year’s door, made from branches I scavenged off the side of the road, a cauldron I made from a bucket skeletons I’ve collected over the years (other than Shazza on the door she’s new) And some pumpkins from our neighbour farmer Scott!
“And the best front door friend ever @emlouflowers who is as crazy as me & she’s my partner in crime in helping me make what’s in my head come to life. I know it’s very early this year but I actually needed to finish it before our Halloween event here on Thursday. I need no excuses to start early though, I’m so glad it gets to stay up a little longer & I have an actual excuse!”
Her fans loved the latest home decorations as one wrote: “Looks amazing.” Another commented: “Love this. You smash it every year Stacey I can’t wait to do mine the weekend woo hoo.” Someone else described Stacey as “queen of decor” while another fan added: “Looks awesome you are so creative and talented.”
Stacey and her husband Joe Swash, 42, purchased their home in March 2021 – and later called it Pickle Cottage. The home reportedly cost £1.2million and has been transformed over the years into a stylish but fun home for them and their five children, Zachary, Leighton, Rex, Rose and Belle.
Last weekend, Stacey’s reality show Sort Your Life Out won a prize in the factual entertainment category at the National Television Awards. Sort Your Life Out sees Stacey and her team help UK homeowners declutter their homes, deciding which personal items to keep or discard. The show airs on BBC One and episodes are also available on BBC iPlayer.
