Comedian Ken Flores’ cause of death has been revealed seven months after he died at the age of 28.
The stand-up star was in the middle of a tour around the US, performing 33 dates across America and was due on stage in Phoenix, Arizona hours after his death was announced at the end of January.
Now, seven months after Ken’s death was announced, a report from the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner has been released. The report reveals Ken’s cause of death was determined as cocaine toxicity.

The documents, seen by TMZ, also report the comedian’s history of congestive heart failure was another significant condition of his death. His death was ruled as an accident by the medical examiner.
The medical examiner also noted the only substance present in Ken’s body at the time of his death was cocaine and he tested negative for alcohol, fentanyl, meth, opioids and other substances.
Earlier this year, Ken’s family issued a heartbreaking statement to announced his death. It read: “It is with great sadness that we confirm the untimely passing of our friend, brother, and son, Kenyi Flores.
“Please respect our privacy at this time as we are all shocked and devastated by this loss.”
Shortly before he died, Ken revealed he had been attempting to do his tour booze-free. He tweeted: “So I started my tour a couple weeks ago and I’m proud to say I’ve done every single show – five in Portland, one in Albuquerque, and four in Atlanta – without a single drop of alcohol.
“Nervous for Phoenix next weekend but I think I got it. I’m not sober just wanna chill a bit.”
Since the news of his death, Ken’s fans have taken to his social media to post messages of condolence. One write: “So many plans made Rest Peacefully Brother”.
Another added: “Rip you bro I watched all your vids you was truly funny! I know you up there making god laugh”. A third added: “This is terrible. So talented and such a good dude. We will all miss him.”
Meanwhile, streaming service Hulu later released a special to honour Ken. The news was shared on the late star’s social media in June with a promotional poster and a caption that read: “A tribute to a legend. Ken’s special drops on June 6th on Hulu” followed by the butterfly emoji.
