Amy-Lucy – who had a fling with married Thomas Skinner – has claimed that his admission that it was “nothing more” than a one time thing is far from the truth
Thomas Skinner’s ‘one-off’ fling Amy-Lucy O’Rourke has shared a string of alleged texts between the pair, which she claims rubbishes his admission that it was “nothing more” than a one time thing.
The Strictly Come Dancing star confessed he had cheated on his wife Sinead just weeks after they got married. The pair tied the knot in May 2022, four years after they met in a bar in London. The pair got engaged two years later and now share three children – a son who is now four and a set of twin daughters, who are now two.
In an admission, Thomas said his fling was the “biggest mistake of my life” and said he “felt absolutely terrible” about it. He claimed the fling lasted two weeks.

“It was three and a half years ago. It is the biggest mistake of my life. I met her in a pub. She was a single mum. We chatted on the phone and she offered me some kind of cosmetic slimming treatments. I had a fling. It was nothing more than that,” he told The Sun.
“It was the one time, it was a mistake. I woke up feeling absolutely terrible about it. I felt so guilty, I told my wife. I let her down in that brief moment of madness where I wasn’t thinking, where I didn’t appreciate what I had. I’m sorry. I’m so, so sorry.”
Now, Amy-Lucy has claimed that the pair enjoyed a three month relationship, in contrast to Thomas’ claims. She claims that the pair began messaging on May 13 and their communication continued right though until July 7. She claimed that the pair ended up FaceTiming on June 20th, just weeks after Thomas tied the knot and they also communicated again the next day and then met up in the evening.
Thomas, who shares three children with wife Sinead, told Amy-Lucy he was in a “loveless relationship of convenience” and felt pressure to marry his wife due to her family.
“We were messaging one another all of the time. There were also late night calls and often he would be with me,” she told the Mail Online. Amy-Lucy also claims that by July, the pair’s messages grew explicit and they told each other how they were in love.
Amy-Lucy also alleged that Tom would grow jealous of rumours she was dating other men they both knew. She claimed he said he would “punch them all” but she had assured him that he was the only man she was interested in.
The Mirror has contacted Thomas’ representative for comment.
