Sue Radford – mum of the UK’s biggest family – has been targeted by online trolls after she posted a video of Christmas Day in the Radford’s household with ‘every inch’ of floor covered with gifts

Sue Radford has been slammed by online trolls for festive “overkill” after she shared a video of Christmas Day in their household and the huge amount of presents that her children had to open.

Of course, Sue and husband Noel have 22 children together, so there will always be a high number of gifts to be given on the big day. The family have come underfire after posting on YouTube what it was like on Christmas morning, with children ripping open presents in what looks like controlled chaos.

The Radford’s titled the video “Christmas Day – nothing but presents,” and Noel revealed that they went downstairs to the sea of presents at 7.07am. While that could be argued is a reasonable time for children to enter the fray of opening gifts but he did admit that some of them came to their bedroom at 5am.

In the video, the kids looked gobsmacked at the room of presents and they were soon getting stuck in, with the Radford’s youngest daughter Heidie looking delighted at receiving a new bike. Casper, 12, also unwrapped his first iPhone and was clearly ecstatic at the gift.

Sue had previously revealed that there was around 300 presents for the children between them, with no expense spared to ensure they all had a fabulous Christmas. The video didn’t sit well with everyone though, and the comment section was soon full of dissenters who took aim at the family for roomful of presents.

One person was raging at what they watched, hitting out in the comment section: “Total overkill on the presents but at least it wasn’t Shein tat.” Another added: “It’s sickening the amount of presents this year… ridiculous parenting.”

A third slammed the Radfords for flaunting the amount of gifts, writing: “This is rubbing peoples noses in what they can’t buy for their own children.” Not everyone was feeling the same way as some pointed out that with the size of their family, the Radfords were always going to be swamped with presents and that each child had a ‘reasonable’ amount.

One person pointed this out, arguing: “Each kid got a perfectly normal sized pile of presents each not loads. Even if they were to get loads and loads so what? You aren’t paying for it? The parents are and they earn their money so can spend it on whatever they like!”

Another was sympathetic to the Radfords and took the trolls to task, stating: “It never ceases to amaze me that people feel that have a right to say what they should do or spend on their children!”
