Sydney Sweeney has been separated from her fiancé, Jonathan Davino, since January, according to reports. The Euphoria actress, 27, sent shockwaves through the showbiz world when it was revealed she had called off the couple’s wedding bringing their seven-year romance to an abrupt end.
The couple were last photographed together on January 20 before news broke in early February that they had postponed their May wedding. More fuel was added to the breakup rumours when Sydney checked in to the Beverly Hills Hotel for an extended stay without Jonathan. She was spotted lounging around the celebrity hangout with her friends and then took them with her to Paris Fashion Week.

It’s now been reported by TMZ that the couple have been separated since January and are no longer together.
Another source said Sydney’s relationship with her former fiancé had become “strained” in recent months, telling The Sun: “Sydney and Jonathan have split and are having time apart from each other.”
They added: “They were supposed to be getting married in May but for now that’s off and they’re seeing where they go from here. Their relationship has become strained since the start of the year and right now they’re no longer together.
“Their friends hope they can work this out as they make such a great couple but Sydney has made it clear she needs space.”
The couple had originally planned to get hitched in the spring, but Sydney reportedly cancelled the ceremony as she “couldn’t handle the stress.”
According to Page Six, the Madame Web star has been “extremely busy” with her acting career and this has brought new added “tension” to their relationship.
The source added: “Things are also always tense between them when she is promoting a movie because she has to give her full attention to the project, and people always speculate about their relationship and Sydney being close to her co-stars. It’s a tough dynamic for Jonathan.”
This week, Sydney reunited with her co-star Glen Powell after calling off her wedding as she ditched her engagement ring.
The actress previously sparked romance rumours while working on the romantic comedy Anyone But You with the Hollywood heartthrob. As they promoted the film, fans noticed their sizzling chemistry, with many pointing out how touchy and flirty they were during interviews.
Sydney later shut down the speculation while hosting Saturday Night Live, calling the online rumours “disorienting and unfair.” However, the pair have reunited amid Sydney’s heartbreak.
She joined Glen at his sister Leslie’s wedding rehearsal dinner at Joe Leo Fine Tex Mex this weekend. In photos shared by gossip site DeuxMoi, Sydney spent time with his family in Texas.
The actress was also spotted having brunch with some of Glen’s family, while the Top Gun: Maverick star was absent according to a source.
However, an insider claimed that Sydney was accompanied by her best friend and had already RSPV’d for the wedding before she postponed her own. The actress is said to be “very close” to his sister Leslie and “good friends” with Glen’s family.
Adding that he believes Stacey bears “no ill toward [him]” and said that she seems to be a “happy person” who doesn’t hold significant grudges, even if “justified” to do so.
