Tasha Ghouri has left fans stunned with her transformation into a fiery redhead, embracing the latest ‘cowboy copper’ hair trend this season. The Love Island alum revealed her bold new look on Instagram, exclaiming: “Erm hiiiii I did a thing! ! Amber spice is here”, and gave a shoutout to the colourists responsible for her striking change.

The head-turning shade was crafted at the prestigious Daniel Galvin salon in London, where senior colour director Heather Purton took to Instagram to share that Redken’s 7c Curry dye was used to achieve Tasha’s vibrant copper tone. For those looking to replicate the look at home, the exact Redken dye is available for £16.99 here on Amazon. Alternatively, the Shrine Drop It Hair Colourant Copper offers a customisable option for achieving the perfect copper hue, retailing at £12.99 here.

Tasha’s dramatic new hair colour might come as a surprise to her followers, but she recently exclusively confessed to OK! Magazine that she’d been considering the change for some time. Tasha revealed: “I’ve been blonde for five years. I want to try something different and just have fun. And also, I just think it’s just hair. I can always go back to blonde. I went brunette before and it didn’t suit me, but I’ve I’ve seen this trend on TikTok. I’m like, I just need to try it. I’ve been talking about it actually for probably over a year. I feel like everyone’s getting sick of me talking about it as well. So I’m so indecisive. I’m like, ‘Do I do it?’ And everyone’s like, ‘Just do it!’ I’m going to go for it” reports OK!.

And indeed, she did go for it. Tasha’s post quickly garnered hundreds of comments and likes just minutes after revealing her bold new look. Fellow celebrity Vicky Pattison commented: “Wow mate” while influencer Melis Ekrem exclaimed: “YESSSSS SHE DID IT! You look incredible!”

If you’re inspired to replicate Tasha’s look, we highly recommend using the Shrine hair drops for an easy at-home transformation. Simply mix them with your favourite conditioner (any brand will work) in a bowl, then refer to the colour chart on the box to select the intensity of the copper shade you desire.

Next, add the corresponding amount of drops to your conditioner and mix with a hair colouring brush until thoroughly blended. Apply the mixture all over your towel dried hair making sure not to miss a few spots and leave to develop for 10 minutes before rinsing out.

The colour can work on blonde, brunette and red hair to get a gorgeous, vibrant copper hue. However if you already have auburn hair and just want to give it a little refresh, you could also use Glaze Super Gloss Copper Crush, £15.99 here, which acts like a tinted moisturiser for your hair.

It boosts your existing colour vibrancy, repairs the appearance of damage and adds showstopping shine, all in one handy affordable treatment. Thanks for the major hair inspo Tasha!
